Drive a team of dogs

Have you ever dreamed of driving your own dog sled through a snowy winter forest? This is your chance to experience it for real.

Two people share one sled. One person drives while the other sits in the sled and enjoys the ride. During the tour we stop and switch drivers so that both of you get the opportunity to try driving.

Before departure we provide a short safety briefing where we explain how the sled works and how to drive safely. Most guests quickly discover that it’s easier than expected – and incredibly fun.

Each sled team usually consists of 4–8 enthusiastic huskies, depending on weather and snow conditions. Together they will guide you through the beautiful winter landscape.

Your guide follows the group by snowmobile and leads the way, while keeping a comfortable distance so you can enjoy the peaceful feeling of travelling through the forest with your own team of dogs.

During the tour we make a few stops to take photos, change drivers and check that everyone – dogs and guests alike – is doing well.

You and your companions sit comfortably in a larger sled while an experienced guide drives the dog team. Our strong and eager huskies pull you through the snowy landscape at a pleasant and relaxing pace.

This tour is perfect if you want to enjoy the scenery, feel the power of the dogs and simply take in the experience.

After the tours you will meet the dogs, pet them and thank them for the ride. Then we gather inside our warm traditional hut where we serve coffee and snacks.

Several dogs usually come by for some extra cuddles – and sometimes even curious puppies. Many guests say this cozy moment is one of the highlights of the tour.
